Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg had some ideas for Facebook when he was thinking about purchasing Instagram. Facebook now has their own camera application! This application allows you to upload as may photos as you want, whenever you want. There is still some crazy filters, but they are nowhere near as bad as Instagram’s filters. You can tag people in the photo, say something about it before uploading it,resize it, and also rotate the photo.

Facebook Camera, coming to the Apple App Store May 24th, “Makes using Facebook photos faster and easier,” Facebook said when the app was being announced.

To upload a photo or photos stored on your phone, tap the film-like strip row of photos along the top bar. That will expand to show you all available pics stored on your iPhone. Tap one to create a Facebook post with that image, or tap the shaded arrow to add multiple pictures to a single post. You can also take a photo straight from the app itself by tapping on the camera icon.

The overall look of this app is very similar to Instagram. On a photo you can ; see who uploaded it, see who commented, see who liked it, and also comment and like the photo. If the user uploaded multiple photo’s at once, it’s very easy to see all of them. You can see all of the photo’s at one time, but with a simple swipe to the right to see the next photo, and a swipe to the left to see the previous photo ; you viewed all of them. I very much like being able to see multiple photo’s at once instead of only seeing one.

If you want to look at one person’s pictures only, you can simply tap on their name It will take you to their Facebook photo’s inside the app and you can scroll down until there is no more, or you’re sick of looking at the same persons photo’s. To exit out of looking at a photo, you just tap on the photo and you don’t see the photo full anymore.

You also might have trouble finding this app in the app store, you can click on this link to download it. This app is currently compatible with the following devices : iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (4th generation), iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iPad (3rd generation) and iPad Wi-Fi + 4G.Requires iOS 4.3 or later. Any devices other than those, that are not running iOS 4.3 or later such as the iPod Touch Second Generation is not compatible with this app.
